This policy explains what we collect when you visit mysterydare.com or place an order, why we collect it, and what choices you have.
The short version: we collect what we need to send you a card game and keep the site working. We don't sell your personal information.
What we collect
When you place an order, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and shipping address
- Your order details — what you bought and how much you paid
- Payment confirmation from Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
When you visit the site
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site — which pages get read, which don't, roughly where visitors come from. It sets cookies and collects an approximate location and device details. It does not tell us who you are.
Who we share it with
Only the companies we need to run the shop:
- Stripe — processes payments and handles sales tax. Stripe's own privacy policy governs what it does with your details.
- Google Analytics — website analytics, as described above.
- Shipping carriers — so your order can reach you.
What we don't do
We don't sell your personal information. We don't share it with advertising networks, and we don't run advertising or social-media tracking pixels on this site.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes, and to help you if you get in touch about a past order. Analytics data expires on Google's standard schedule.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@mysterydare.com and we'll help. We won't treat you differently for asking.
You can block cookies in your browser, or install Google's opt-out add-on, if you'd rather not be counted in analytics.
Children
The site isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we'll delete them.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and payments are handled by Stripe, which is PCI-compliant. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of the page.
